I have just turned into the narrow road to the Lechblick apartments. It takes me down a steep hill to the building and the hidden carport, where I can quite happily leave my car for the whole week. I have already picked up the keys in a guest house in the village. Nothing is allowed to disturb the peace and seclusion here. As I climb out of the car and get out my luggage; I feel even freer. No more driving. No roads, no road noise. Above all, no crowds. Peace. It is an unbelievable feeling. Once in the apartment, I sit back on my large veranda outside and enjoy the clear view of the mountains, the woods, and the smell of fresh air...
